Last year Uranus briefly entered the astrological sign of Taurus from mid-May to early November. It then retreated back into Aries for final stint to help complete its time in that energy.

Today, on March 6th, 2019 Uranus has entered Taurus once again, but this time it is here to stay until July 6th, 2025. During this period, Uranus, the planet of innovation, change and the unexpected, will bring new energy to the world.

Uranus is unlike any other planet. It spins with its North Pole pointed towards the sun like a bullseye. So it’s fitting that in Astrology, Uranus rules the unique, the changing, the innovative, the revolutionary, modernization, upheaval, and variation. Where Uranus falls in the chart is an area where sudden inspiration is followed by change.

Taurus on the other hand rules finances, material possession, and our sense of self-worth. As Uranus travels through Taurus, we can expect that all things Taurus are likely to transform or be upgraded.

For example: the last time Uranus went through Taurus is was in the middle of the Great Depression, which brought us the New Deal (which launched programs to help employ people putting cash in their pockets) and social security (to protect people in their old age).

Food

With Uranus in Taurus, how we produce food and how we consume it will surely be revolutionized. We might even start eating something totally new as a food source.

Finance

This time Uranus in Taurus will disrupt how we use money through crypto-currencies, cash-less buying, and possibly the introduction of Universal Basic Income. There will be a strong desire to minimize stuff and downsize especially as the population ages and the price of housing go up. The “gig economy” will become more prevalent and people will have the option of multiple sources of income. In a few years, nearly everyone you know will have a side-hustle.
